Ingredients
For the Garlic Sauce:
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¾ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pizza:
- 1 thin pizza crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup dill pickles, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- Optional: fresh dill or red chili flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Prepare the Garlic Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the consistency with a teaspoon of water if needed. Set aside.
- Prepare the Crust
- Roll out your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle or rectangle on parchment paper. If using store-bought dough, follow the package instructions.
- Assemble the Pizza
- Spread the garlic sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Arrange the sliced dill pickles on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the pickles.
- Bake the Pizza
- Transfer the pizza to the oven (or onto the preheated pizza stone) and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool and Garnish
- Let the pizza cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh dill or red chili flakes if desired.
- Serve and Enjoy
- Slice the pizza and serve immediately. Pair with a green salad or ranch dressing for a complete meal.
